Paints

Postby Guard>Marines » 01 Nov 2017, 20:16

Not necessarily WIP, but where's the best place to get spray paints from locally?
GW's sprays seem to be ridiculous in price and the only other stuff I can find is small cans of paint used for airfix which are just as expensive.
Got a few tanks to paint, and I want to experiment with getting camouflage paint on them quickly
Cheers,
Adam

Had some success with Plasticoat paints (can get them in places like The Range) - only thing is they are thick, so careful with the spray and allow a good distance. Also, I've only used them as primers...

I went down the range at longwater the other day and picked up some brushes and stuff, but the only spray paints they had were for metal. I might order some from one of the other specialist model companies that are cheaper than citadel.

The most affordable ones i have found for priming was from halfords.
Personally though i would stick with citadel ones they give best coverage
